The hotel nneeded major repairs. Our safety lock didn't work; the room smelled like a dirty armpit; the sheets were thin; the room wasn't very clean; the exterior needed paint; appliances in the room were broken, etc. The breakfast room was ... a traveler, a user of hotels.com.
