Don't stay here! Look at address; may have changed its name
The Elderhostel organization choose this hotel for its convenience to highway to Key West and to the Everglades. Check-in was terrible. Even though reservations were made in advance with all credit checked, slow moving clerk made each person ( 24 guests and 2 guides!) show identification. Mosquit... Treehouser, a user of Tripadvisor. ""When we arrived on a late sunday afternoon there was about 30 people having a private party at the pool. They were not guests. They were loud screaming youngsters, as well as adults with blaring music. No room left in the small pool for guests. the Floridian Hotel was under construction, and very loud.......the room was clean, but VERY old, stained, and out of date...the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly and co-operative....the phone didn't work, and the toilet ran all the time, and the chairs had no bottom to the seats so...
