I can only describe the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort as tired. Not sure how it achieves a 3 star hotel rating (unless that is 3 out of 10), but it is significantly more run down than some of the 2 star hotels on JAX Beach we walked through while staying at the SunSpree. This hotel is a gem of a find. Its right on the beach with a great pool & oceanview rooms! Yes this hotel is older, but its very clean & great fun!!! Very Unhappy sleeping conditions

The first room 208 was filty, the sink in the bath room was stopped up and nasty. The tub was not clean. The whole hotel had a very foul smell. Great for the money

The hotel had a really fun atmosphere. It was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room had a chair, plenty of drawer space and closet space, and a nice sized tv.
