The Marrero's Guest Mansion is a great place to go and get away, the pool is great, the rooms are nice, and the breakfast and happy hour are great. more on igougo

We have been going to Key West for the past 8 years. We have stayed at Marrero's for the last 5 years. I have no desire to stay anywhere else! Wonderful place to be! Location is great, 1/2 block off of Duval, but still remains peaceful. ... more on Yahoo! Travel

This isn't the Hilton, so if that's what you're expecting, forget it. Personally, we much prefer this to the "chain" hotels which have taken over Key West.
