Disappointment

I had read other reviews on other sites, and they sounded like this might really be a nice place. Wrong. We were stuck in the back of the hotel (ground floor), very motel-like accomodation. So disappointing :(
The reason we chose to stay here for our honeymoon in July '06 was because of the pool. Unfortunately, it was broken during our whole stay. can't wait to go back
the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the room was beautiful. the bed was so comfortable i did not want to wake up in the morning. probably the most comfortable bed i have slept on. the pool area was amazing. really had the island feel i was looking for. they even had a guy playing a stee... wendy s., a user of travelocity.com. This facility is excellent. Matt, GM, is very knowledgeable and customer oriented. Its too bad that not all of his employees have the same attitude toward the guess.
