Wonderful, with a Southern/Savannah flair
I always stay here when Im in town to watch the Detroit Tigers (about 2 miles from the field), very clean, has every ammenity you could think of, even a ironing board that comes out from behind the mirror. This hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problems I had were the breakfast buffet was a little limited, the fitness center was located outside and the TV in the fitness center didn't work. i've stayed at this hotel a few times and every time i'm pleased. it's a quieter area of town, right by 1-4, major shopping and dining but removed enough to feel private and very much like a getaway. jameson inn is never too expensive and the accomadations are great! if you're not looking for fan... a traveler, a user of hotels.com.
