I expected more, but it is a great location.
I loved my stay at this hotel, but to be honest, it needs some work. I expected more than it delivered. My main gripe is that they can not get enough staff. This one's a MAYBE!
Stayed three days in June 2007. The staff was terrific......ALL of them!! The bed was great .... one of the new "Hilton" beds. The location/site/beach are spectacular!! ""I will say that the Hilton on Longboat Key is a very quaint place on the beach. You cant stay in many hotels on the beach in the area. Although it's not a typical Hilton hotel, they do it right. My family has previously stayed at this hotel and were pleased with the room and service. On this repeat visit, we were accompanied by my mother and brother and his family, so there were nine of us in three rooms (two ocean front). The hotel was relatively clean but overpriced.
