Keeps getting better and better!
We just returned from another fabulous year at the Sandpiper Inn (formerly the Riviera) on Longboat Key. What can be said that hasn't been said already? Wonderful Vacation!!
My now fiance and I found the Sandpiper Inn on the Chamber of Commerce website of Longboat Key, and fell in love with it online. As soon as we got to the Inn, our first thought was that the internet pictures did not give enough justice to the beautiful property. It was nice being on ground level.... beautiful beach, place not so great
I booked 3 rooms for our families. Upon arrival we noticed the place was older but looked clean, the rooms are o.k, nothing fancy, noisy window air unit and only in the front room no air or ventilation in the bedrooms or bathroom, but once you cranked down the air to 69 it cooled down fairly nice... Would not even take a reservation on an open room!
I read the many wonderful reviews about the Sandpiper Inn and called to inquire in late March about availability on one of the oceanfront units for the end of April.
