we want to go back!
Just left the Driftwood Inn after our first and hopefully not last stay -- in August 2007 we found it just great. We immediately extended our stay from three nights to four when we saw the place. ANTS IN OUR PANTS!!!!
We stayed at the Driftwood a while back and it was no PICNIC! We booked a king room in the main building. While the outside of the facility was nice and the beach was amazing, the rooms however, left much to be desired. The bed was old and we were scared to move much for fear we'd wind up on the ... Great! But some problems
We recently stayed at the Driftwood and I can't say enough about the beach location. It was perfect! The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, lots of flowers. However some things not so great. What a Disappointment
I found the Driftwood Inn on the internet under Florida B&B's. Their website presented a beautiful inn nestled in a garden. The outside was as the website depicted but that was all. AWFUL!!!
So many reasons not to return to the Driftwood Inn: Overall cleaning was the worst I've ever seen for a place that sounds so wonderful. The whole house was gross. No extra towels, no clock, the blinds didn't work, we had to cover the futon cover to be able to sit on it, the refrigerator was nasty... A TripAdvisor Member, a user of Tripadvisor.
