Reservation not honored

Our confirmed reservation for February 16, 2997 was not honored!. Fortunately, I called the Amerisuites Miam from further north in Florida around 6 PM to let them know we wouldn't be arriving until about 8PM. at which time the clerk said they did not have a room in my name. My kids don't want to go anywhere else but to this Residence Inn. We have spent all of their birthdays here for the past 10 years. This hotel has everything you need in one place.! I stayed 2 nights and like this place. The room has 2 queen beds, and a sofa bed. Not great

Room had a musty smell and we had booked an non-smoking room, but received a smoking room. There was a leak coming from a locked closet and the carpet was soaked. The decor was outdated.
