2.0: You can probably do better

On the plus side: no complaints about the Internet rate, $90 a night, for a hotel directly on the Gulf where most of the rooms have terrific views. We were on the 8th floor and had a terrific experience watching the sun go down. The staff on duty when we arrived were courteous and efficient. Now for the other side of things. The rooms are tacky and weary. At $90 a night on a business trip, it's amusing, but I don't know what I'd think about the "Vegas Nightmare" motif if I had paid a lot more or was trying to impress someone. I'm not a picky traveler; I even like kitsch, and I'm not one to fall on the fainting couch over a little problem. But these rooms were butt-ugly, with garish ... kgschneider, a user of Tripadvisor.
