Very nice stay
My husband and I stayed at the Helmsley , this pastt November, over the Veteran's Day weekend. I must say that we really enjoyed our stay. Sarasota is one of my favourite spots. Not to much people, that's how I love to spending time on the beach! This photo is taken at Lido Beach. Good Price, great beach but needs some TLC
We stayed at the Sandcastle when a good friend of mine got married. It was a bit run-down but nice for the price and we loved the beach. I must have picked up 50 seashells. Just returned from a weekend trip to the Helmsley Sandcastle. First I will admit the rooms are dated, however they were very clean, And the room is were you usually spend the minimal amount of your time as the beach is so inviting and private. Fabulous Spring Break Get Away

This hotel was very well maintained. 2 pools and private beach right on the ocean. No charge for parking, lounge chairs,beach and pool towels and daily paper. Staff was friendly and attentive.
