Basic Digs, Marriott dependability

This is your basic 2 1/2 star kind of Marriott. Everything is in good condition, being relatively new. Staff was friendly- even made a courtesy call to verify my reservation (they must have been overbooked?!?). This hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale beaches and downtown, so if you're thinking of staying here for a vacation, you may want to know that it is not located close to the ocean.
