This hotel is fine if you need to be near the port or just want a base to explore the whole of the Nice area. more on TripAdvisor

Air-conditioning wasnt working but the room was still very cool as we could leave the sliding doors open and there was no noise at all. more on Venere.com

That's true, it's near the port, so if you want to stay in the centre of Nice do some research and book a hotel there. more on TripAdvisor

A word of warning: The Agata is located a good 20 minutes walk from the centre of the old town, if you stay there you WILL do a lot of walking. more on Venere.com

I would not recommend this hotel. First of all, it is way too far to the city centre, they advertised "close to the ocean" it is, however, you cannot use the ocean at this location....they are closed ... more on TripAdvisor
