Where to begin? About six months in advance, I contracted for a one night stay for six rooms at The Partridge Inn (14 friends & family members attending an event). I contacted the GM several weeks before our arrival to report a problem with the reservationist who was less than helpful with adding two rooms to my "block" (which she was quick to inform me was not a block, because it consisted of fewer than 10 rooms. Translation: "We don't need your business.") The GM assured me that all would be taken care of and our rooms would be top notch, everyone would get the rooms they requested, and they would be near each other.
