Average hotel but Well Located

Stayed here for 4 nights in July 2007. The hotel room I stayed in was average in style and taste with quite dated decor. The furniture was packed quite tightly into the room so there was not much room for manoeuvre (and I was travelling alone). The bathroom was reasonable size with shower cubicle... Very good

The hotel is in a very good location and worth the price. The breakfast is average and the neighbourhood is OK, not the fanciest, but OK. The worst stay

We booked our stay for 3 nights for 2 triple rooms which we were told were supposed to be adjoining rooms. When we got there, we got 2 triple rooms which were not adjoining, let alone next to one another. Decent hotel in awful area

The Marina hotel is a good value for Athens, although the surrounding area is bad enough to ruin your stay in the city.
