Pretty nice B&B
Tropohouse is a family run B & B in the middle of a Maui rainforest. It is conveniently located on the road to Hana and about 7 miles from Paia, a cute little surfing village on the north side of the island. It feels very secluded and is very quiet. My fiancee and I stayed in the Orchid Room, a loft room on the top floor. It has a loft bed (I think to bring the bed up to level with the windows so you can feel the breeze). ... Loved Tropohouse
Tropohouse is a clean, comfortable, safe, and affordable, slightly elegant Maui home away from home. Many Maui “must sees” cluster nearby Tropohouse: beaches to the north, Paia and other small quirky towns to the west and south, Haleakala Crater to the south, Hana to the east, or Lahaina southwest. And my favorite: Hawaiian tropical protea flower-farming ground zero is just minutes south (best seen in the winter). Park your car 50 feet away from your room and off-load at your leisure. Relax at one of the bistro tables on the large tiled patio or sun on the deck. True, there is no ocean view here but they don’t charge for it. There is a lot of pride of ownership and it shows at Tropohouse. It is well organized and maintained by an on-site owner. SUPERB BASE LOCATION Tropohouse in Haiku is a wonderful place ...
