No one meets you upon arrival, or seems to care.
Ants in bathroom.
Breakfast: Poundcake from Sara Lee? Bagels from Safeway, plastic bagged? Eggs good.

Gorgeous Private Waterfall

The highlight of this inn is the gorgeous waterfall right on the property. We hiked down to it one morning and were the only people there - truly amazing. This is Hilo’s best kept secret. If you have never been to Hawaii, The Inn at Kulaniapia is probably what you are hoping for. If you have been to Hawaii and were a little disappointed with all of the commercialization, then we found that piece of paradise that you were looking for. This B%B is off the beaten path so beware. However, the trip is well worth it. A beautiful house located about 800 feet above Hilo what a wonderful view. The rooms are small but clean. The room we have stayed in (twice) has a view of a large waterfall.
