Don't expect a lot

It is a hostel.
An older hostel.
If price is a big concern, it's your place.
There probably isn't anything less expensive.
The rooms are old, hot water is questionable, and the owner is not friendly.

Great for relaxation

I liked the town that it was in. Honokaa reminded me of my hometown 50 years ago. Interesting shops and many chances to talk to locals.
