Some units are nice, others terrible. During busy times, you will be stuck with what you get. This is because the facility is a condominium, with various owners who do various service to their apartments.

Exactly as advertised- Excellent Location

I stayed at the Kona Islander from 6/4/07-6/8/07. I was on my way back to Seattle from Tokyo business travel and stayed over for some R&R. My husband and I stayed in room 316, which is located on the third floor overlooking the pool and garden area. Very private.
