Careful about location in Kona Makai

Noisy and minimal privacy, with lanai looking toward each other. Our condo was on the parking lot and tennis court, so we were challenged to sleep a full night. Avoid lower floors, and bldg 4 if privacy and noise is an issue. For view and ... By Fuzzy from Sacramento, a user of Yahoo! Travel. Read full review on Yahoo! Travel

Great location

I've stayed in various units at the Kona Makai on every trip to the Big island. Very well kept grounds and friendly people have made it one of my favorite places. Our Stay at Kona Makai

We spent two weeks in Condo 2304 and this is my honest opinion of the complex. The grounds are well kept, the location on the ocean is awesome, and the pool area is nice. We were in 3-302, so were closer to the beach than the street. Although the bedroom overlooked a parking lot it was very quiet. The grounds ... By faerydust23 from Santa Cruz, CA, a user of Yahoo! Sweating with the Ants in Unit 3102

My wife and I stayed here for 12 days. On our previous trip to the big island, we styed at the Casa de Emdeko. This one-bedroom unit was superior in most respects. First the beefs. Don't expect to enjoy the night air because the screen door on one of the lanais is broken and the other one doesn't... Dzhugashvili, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on TripAdvisor
