Kihei may not
be Hawaii's most popular resort, but it is the cheapest. Sitting near the West Maui Mountains, lodging
(mostly including hotels) sit on the peaceful Kihei shores, providing a
relaxing view from any angle. Although
not ideal for an adventurous family vacation, it is a hidden gem in Hawaii,
proving to be a wonderful relaxing resort town for families who desire
relaxation over adventure. Lodging is
abound here, mostly consisting of name-brand hotels along the shore. There is locally owned lodging nearby also,
usually cheaper than the name-brand hotels.
For modern
relaxation along the Kihei shoreline, name-brand hotels line the shoreline
beaches. Just minutes away from natural
attractions such as snorkeling off the beach, hotels are a mainstay for most
busy families, providing comfortable beds and plenty of space for kids to relax
in. Usually well-lit and offering a safe
view of Kihei Shore, other attractions, such as locally owned restaurants, will
be a favorite among kids during the late evening hours. Other vacation spots are mostly located
outside of Kihei, although it is still a short drive away. If you need vacation lodging without the
hefty price, however, consider lodging in town, mostly consisting of local
