Poor quality unit
Althought the complex (Poipu Sands) was great and in a great location, our unit was unbelievably bad. It hadn't been updated in at least 10 years. The living room furniture was worn and fraying. ""We stayed here in 2002 and loved it, but this time, were assigned a unit that had never been updated in 20+ years, was so-so on cleanliness, and contained a horrible, old mattress that made it hard to sleep (and we are generally not particularly fussy people).
