a dream like stay in a mountain chalet surrounded by a Japanese garden

We live in Honolulu, so we are used to the beauty of Hawaii. It takes a lot to impress us, but this B&B did just that. It embodies the adventure fantasy of the Big Island of Hawaii. It is secluded with all the comforts of a great old inn. We stayed in the upstairs suite and then in the garden room. Both were outstanding, with large baths, sitting rooms, outside private tables, fridge, microwave, tv, dvd, cd player, cds in the room, large comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Ohia Hideaway overpriced, lacked basics

The Ohia HIdeaway is a one-bedroom cottage operated by the Chalet Kilaueau Collection. It has cute furnishings, and is very quiet. We stayed there from June 20-23, 2007.
