Near Arlington Park is the newer CoCo Key Resort at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest, a hotel with a substantial water park adjacent to it. The park has a wave pool , several water slides, whirlpool, sun deck, plus activities such as water basketball and a separate area (complete with plenty of slides) for younger children. Also on hand: an arcade, snack bar, restaurant, and bar. In the dead of the Chicago winter, this hotel can be a welcome oasis, particularly if you're traveling with kids. If you stay at the hotel water park, admission is included in the cost of your room. Day passes are available for people not staying in the hotel, but just how many nonhotel guests are admitted into the park will depend on capacity. Excerpt from Moon Handbooks: Illinois
