We had planned a week-long vacation in Chicago around the 4th of July in order to go to the Taste of Chicago as well as have our kids see fireworks on the 4th over the Lake. Booked this hotel 45 days in advance through Expedia. Even confimed booking with the hotel 24 hours before. We showed up late on the evening of our stay due to our late flight in to O'Hare (thus the reason we confirmed).
