The earlier two reviews on Harrison House offer little insight into what this place is really all about. I’ll try to provide a little more insight. Harrison House was originally one of the great manor houses built in the Lake Forest / Lake Bluff area early in the last century. It was designed by Howard Van Doren Shaw, a name familiar to most architecture buffs living in the area. The entrance drive to Harrison House is very grand and elegant.
