Bate and Switch- Room Rates Beware!

I recently had a wedding in Peoria, IL. We were going to be hosting many out of town guests from Chicago and Iowa, and were hoping that the Mark Twain would be a nice place as we had heard about its recent renovations.

Tops in Peoria
I stayed here for a few days on business. Because I kept coming and going from Peoria, I had the chance to compare The Mark Twain to the two other big hotels in the city center, and it was definitely my favorite, as well as that of my colleagues. Be prepared for surprises!
As this hotel was near a reception site, for a wedding we were attending, and we were from out-of-state, we opted, even after reading the reviews, to give it a try. Not a good decision!
