Too hot - too loud
If you're familiar with the Holiday Inn HoliDome format, you know that the rooms facing the pool can be loud. In this multistory building rooms facing the pool are the norm... and loud. Facelift not enough to save tired Hotel, Rude staff
Web pics of the hotel looked good, and I was happy to step into a very nice lobby redone with rich chairs and marble tile. This fancification of the lobby explains the $175+ rates, despite the 12 Mile heavily congested commute to Chicago. Then, the booking realities.
