Pretty typical of a residence inn, but considering the surrounding area, thats a plus. I was traveling through hammond on my way to chicago when I encountered car trouble, luckily there were 3 marriott's right there and I was able to pull in to the parking lot before my car got worse. 3.0: Some good, some bad points.

Room temperature was hard to control - too hot upon arrival, too cold in the AM - seemed difficult to adjust with in-room thermostat.
