Clean, inexpensive hotel

We stayed at the Country Hearth in Madison in Jan. 07. Rates were very reasonable and the hotel was clean and neat. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room, which we find very handy and there are free cookies available in the lobby all day. Very dirty hotel

While the cost was tempting the hotel was so bad I should have known better. Everything, from the carpets, the furniture, the front doors, windows, bathrooms (you get the idea) were all just plain nasty.
