Reservation Nightmare

On July 2, I stopped to check in at the Holiday Inn Express--they told me that they had switched hotels as of July 1 with the Carlton next door-- they did not have a reservation for me--it was at the Carlton next door--the Holiday Inn had no rooms available!!! Nice Staff, Close to Shops at Eateries
We stayed here for a few nights visiting friends making our way across country on vacation. All the staff were pleasant, the senior gentlemen who worked in the breakfast room was particularly friendly and kept the breakfast room clean and in order. Rooms were spotless.
