The moment you walk into the lobby you can see how nicely decorated it is with amish materials. Walk past the enclosed pool area and see old amish buggy wheels and saws. The cost for this aging motel was very high $134.10 even with AAA or AARP discount. I can only assume that it was the last weekend of toursit season in the Amana Colonies. This was the first time we have visited this Holiday Inn. The waterpark was great, my family enjoyed it very much so. But the hotel itself is old and run down. The beds are very uncomfortable.
