Good mid-priced hotel but can be hard to find
The Hampton Inn in Houma (about 1 hour west of New Orleans) met all my expectations for the Hampton Inn brand: clean, efficient, well-maintained, and higher quality than most other hotel chains of a similar price and level. Beyond expectations
We rode into Houma on a Saturday with no reservations anywhere. It just so happens that this is the Saturday prior to Hurricane Dennis was headed for the Gulf Coast. A nice Visit
In October 2007 we stayed at this property. We arrived late and were very tired and it did not disappoint us. The front office staff was exceptionally friendly and the rooms met most of our needs. FROM AIRPORT - TAKE I-10 TO HIGHWAY 310 SOUTH TO HIGHWAY 90 WEST TO 24 SOUTH. TAKE HOUMA-THIBODAUX EXIT FOLLOW SIGNS FIVE MILES TO MARTIN LUTHER KING BLVD HIGHWAY 3040 AND TURN RIGHT. THE HOTEL IS 1 AND HALF A MILE ON LEFT.
