Surprisingly acceptable

I normally stay at 4 or 5 star hotels, but when I learned that Lafayette didn't even have so much as a 3 star hotel, I got worried. I researched several hotels, on several websites and came to the decision to stay at the La Quinta. I was worried because TripAdvisor gave it a 2 star but AARP and AAA gave it a 3 star.
