Take I-10 east to exit 235A (Orleans Ave/Vieux Carre) and get in the left lane. Proceed two blocks and bear right onto Basin St. Turn left onto Conti St and proceed three blocks to the New Orleans hotel. Shuttles and taxis are the standard means by which travelers reach hotels in the French Quarter, where the Prince Conti is located. Shuttles cost $5?$15, while taxis charge a flat fee of $28. Town Car and limo service is also available for more than $36. All fees subject to change without notice. Getting around: The New Orleans hotel is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and Bourbon St nightlife. Access to the rest of the city is available for less than $5 via buses and the historic streetcar line. Fee subject to change without notice. Taxis are readily available by phone, usually arriving within 10 minutes; hailing one on the street can be more difficult. Insider tip: Many visitors enjoy a ride on the St. Charles Streetcar. The line begins three blocks away at Canal St and Bourbon St and travels through the historic Garden District, replete with stately homes. It then passes by Riverbend, with its Victorian cottages housing shops and restaurants, and continues to Audubon Zoo and Loyola and Tulane universities.
