Beautiful property - ok as a B&B

Since this is a historical home, we knew to expect older furnishings, creaking floors and no telephone or tv in the room. In the William Winters room we had a queen size, four-poster rice bed which I thought comfortable, but my husband didn't. The bathroom in our room was adequate but had a tub only, no shower. The water didn't get hot enough for me, but it wasn't terrible. At the end of the day, you are left alone on the property without anyone to call for extra towels, room service or anything.
