Island Charming, Service Left a lot to be Desired
My husband and I stayed at the Chebeauge Island Inn over Labor Day weekend. The Pros: We had incredible weather, which made exploring the remote, yet beautiful island enjoyable. Great Chebeague Island is charming and there are not many choices for dining. We sail and thought we would sail to Great Chebeague but ended up taking the ferry because of light wind. Beautifully restored old inn but a bit pricey
Helpful staff this summmer (I know this can change each year) and very knowledgeable. "Designer" inn, redone with fine linens, attention to detail. Very pleasant and the food was delicious.
