OK, but get the right room

We booked this hotel for our first few nights in the US because of its supposed rural setting and the strong reviews. We found a fairly average motel facing Interstate 295, with an excellent attached diner. Good place to stay.

We liked the room. This hotel was at the location we needed to do everything we planned on doing. We spent 3 nites here. Had a room on the 3rd (top) floor, with a view. Awfulllllllllllllllllll

So I read the reviews on this website and thought that the hotel didn't sound that bad but when I received my keys and got told that I had to drive back on the highway and then take a left at the sign and up the hill I had a bad feeling. Very helpful staff

My husband and I spent one night here during our week long drive up the coast of Maine. While the hotel itself is not particularly memorable (nothing bad, just your usual decent hotel), the front desk staff was great. Pleasant and perfectly priced

This was a good, very reasonably priced pitstop for our driving odyssey along the coast of Maine. Although our "room with a river view" was a joke -- the treeline and highway didn't show much of the river in the distance -- the place did have its charms.
