a sad disappointment, a lost treasure
I have stayed at this inn several times, year after year, and used to just love everything about it - pure relaxation. However, on this trip, 5 minutes after arriving I was more stressed out than anyone on vacation should be. I was "greeted" by the new owner who was stressed and who had no proble... Cozy Coastal Retreat
We loved this 1904 hotel! It's in a somewhat remote coastal location with lush forest areas nearby. We stayed here in mid October of 2003 in a comfortable and charmingly furnished turret room which overlooks the ocean. The bathroom was especially delightful with an antique clawfoot tub. Magnificent view, disappointing inn
We stayed 3 nights in "our largest" and, at $230, most expensive room in July, 2004. The private balcony was wonderful but the room was ill-designed and short on creature comforts. Honey Moon....
My husband and were married in 1993. We had rented a socalled cottage somewhere in Maine...it turned out to be a broken downcottage, so dissappointed, we left and started driving...someone inCamden Maine told us about the Inn and we spent about 3 nights there tofinish off what was left of our hon... Beautiful place but not perfect
I had a beautiful room. Room 17. Three windows, two over-looking the water. I wanted to sit for hours and just admire my view. Gorgeous. The carpet in the room was dirty, though.
