I was very dissatisfied with my stay at the Doubletree in Portland. I had stayed at a Doubletree in New York City and had been very pleased which is why I selected this hotel in Portland. Sweet Dreams

This was the perfect location for us since we arrived via bus in Portland. (The bus stop is located just a hop, skip and a jump away.) The room was quite nice...the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Run of the mill

We just spent one night at the Doubletree; it was a business trip and the meeting was at the Doubletree. Otherwise, we would have chosen someplace right in the down town area so that we could walk to the downtown attractions and restaurants. I would not suggest walking into the downtown area from... Our first room had no electricity where the beds were. We asked to move after being kept up all night by screaming guests. The new room was quieter, but there was a dead fly on the air conditioner all 4 days of our stay, and I know the maid saw it as she kept turning the air conditioner on. Also,...
