Overdone

The inn has been renovated nicely and is well decorated, but in my opinion over-done. I feel it needs to be toned down a, to give it a more authentic feel, because as it stands it is, in my opinion, quite gaudy. We found the ultimate place for a wedding or family reunion weekend!

We stayed at the Capt. Nickels Inn while visiting family in the area, and were simply charmed. A nice variety of rooms, all with interesting furnishings, tastefully assembled. The Inn that has it all!

Our first experience at the Captain A. V. Nickels Inn was an evening filled with excellent food starting with hors d’oeurvres and wine, followed by dinner wonderfully presented and tasting just as good as it looked right down to the dessert.
