Very Mediocre, But At 5 Star Prices

My girlfriend and I spent a Saturday night at the Intercontinental. We live only a few blocks from the hotel, but we had a $500 gift certificate so we thought we'd spend the night and have a nice dinner. Valet parking is easy and check in is fast and uncomplicated. I don't think the hotel has any other parking, so if you drive you will be paying $29 for valet parking. Our room rate was $319 for a harbor view room. That was with an AARP discount. This seemed kind of high for a weekend night, but what the heck, we had a gift certificate. The room was comfortable although it is starting to look a bit dated. The king size bed was comfortable, but not anything special. ... BaltoMan52, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on tripadvisor
