Mixed feelings

We found this place randomly after having car trouble nearby that forced us to spend the night in the area. First impressions were good. When my sister and I arrived at the Wayside in the evening, the proprietor met us outside and helped us in with our bags. He was very friendly and smiley and gave us a semi-tour of the house. There are no rooms with double beds, so we had to book two separate rooms. The rooms were nice -- a mix of old country charm and modern amenities like flat-screen tv in one room, and updated bathrooms in both rooms (one had a jacuzzi, which came with a note to not use after 11 p.m., because it might "wake up guests."
