Sleep here with one eye open

My husband and I stayed here on a business trip. It's in a good central location for the town of Frostburg and the university, it's right on Main Street with a place for breakfast and lunch across from it. Threadbare old hotel on a noisy street

My husband and I wanted to ride our bikes on the Allegheny Gap Trail, and we booked a room at Hotel Gunter. BTW, to get from the trail to the hotel, you need to climb a zigzag connector trail to the Gap Trail parking area and then you have to climb up a HUGE hill to the hotel, although there is a... Beautiful, Inexpensive, Personal

The hotel is a historic building, renovated, right on Main St. of Frostburg. Rooms less expensive than Days Inn (or any other local rooms), beautifully decorated, comfortable. Bathrooms can be a bit small. TV, phone, coffee, shower ammenities, etc incl.

I liked this place

This hotel fits right in with the rest of Main Street, Frostburg. It's not luxurious and is a little quirky in its Victorian decor. The service here was very nice and I will stay here again.
