Good basic place to stay
This hotel is intended for use by the military and their families, and is available to ""civilians"" who are smart enough to find it. It is not the Ritz; don't expect posh and glitz or fancy decor. Great Room for the Money

The Constitution Inn is not a fancy hotel, however it is adequate and reasonable for an overnight stay in Boston. Just a 20 minute walk from the north end hosting fabulous restaurants and a 10 minute water taxi ride to the aquarium, this inn worked for us. The city lights view of ... The hotel was very difficult to find. It is not marked well. Since it is one of the only in Charlestown, road signs would also be helpful. I did not know that it was attached/part of the YMCA. TAKE EXIT 28 OFF RT 93 MARKED SULLIVAN SQ TURN RIGHT AT BOTTOM OF RAMP ONTO WASHINGTON ST TURN RIGHT AT SECOND TRAFFIC LIGHT TURN RIGHT ONTO NEW RUTHERFORD AVE.
