The Chatham Wayside Inn is overpriced and the small town of Chatham is one of the most crowded, uncomfortable communites I have ever visited. We stayed at the Wayside Inn for 4 nights in August. Arriving on a very warm afternoon, we were not allowed to check in until 4 - good start! The reception/check-in staff were 'disinterested' and rude, not even being able to direct us to our room once they had almost thrown the key at us.
