Subpar Rooms, Great Location

The location of this hotel was great, but the room was pretty bad. It smelled damp, there was no hot water, and the power tripped if you used the hair dryer while the a/c was on (not expected of a larger, modern hotel). MVY-MARTHAS VINEYARD AIRPORT 0 MI N . AT THE EXIT FROM DUKES COUNTY AIRPORT- TURN LEFT. YOU ARE NOW ON WEST TISBURY RD. FOLLOW THE SIGNS FOR APPROXIMATELY FIVE MILES TO EDGARTOWN. AFTER PASSING EDGARTOWN SCHOOL ON THE RIGHT- CONTINUE TO THE FOUR-WAY STOP. PROCEED STRAIGHT. AT THE NEXT STOP SIGN- TURN RIGHT ONTO MAIN STREET. FOLLOW MAIN STREET THROUGH DOWNTOWN EDGARTOWN. ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO OFFICIAL STOP SIGN- THERE IS A NATURAL HESITANCY IN TRAFFIC AT THE INTERSECTION OF MAIN STREET AND WATER STREET. THE SOVEREIGN BANK IS ON THE LEFT CORNER. TAKE A LEFT ONTO NORTH WATER STREET. THE KELLEY HOUSE IS TWO BLOCKS DOWN ON YOUR RIGHT. FROM MAINLAND- IF YOU DRIVE- YOU CAN PARK ON THE MAINLAND IN ONE OF THE STEAMSHIP AUTHORITY PARKING LOTS AND WALK-ON TO THE FERRY AS A PASSENGER. WHEN THE LOT AT THE STEAMSHIP TERMINAL IN WOODS HOLE IS FULL- ADDITIONAL PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT THREE OFF-SITE LOTS IN BOURNE AND FALMOUTH.
