Most disappointing
Our party of two couples from the UK had originally planned to spend our 4 nights at the nearby Best Western Black Swan (which also fronts directly onto Laurel Lake) having greatly enjoyed our stay there several years back. Lovely old inn
Having read good and bad reviews about this place, we can see how both can be true! Yes, it is quaint and quirky, the floors slope and the paint peels a bit. One of Berkshire's Best
The Inn at Laurel Lake is everything you could want in a casual lake side country setting. Inn keeper Tom Fusco is as accomodating as a host can be. His breakfasts were huge and delicous and highlighted by the tables set on the balcony facing the lake. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless and comfor... a user of Tripadvisor. Avoid if you're not a "B&B person"
OK, there are peope who love B&Bs, and people who don't. I'm in the latter category, but sometimes there's just no better choice. We wanted to be near the Berkshire Theater Festival in Stockbridge. Beautiful lake views and great breakfasts
My family shared two rooms at the inn over a long weekend this August. The location is ideal for boating and swimming on Laurel Lake, which is a pristine, undeveloped lake mostly surrounded by private homes and a small public beach.
