What is that stink??
I spent the night at the Doubletree in Lowell on Oct 29th before the Red Sox Rolling Rally. I parked in the pay parking next door since all the free parking was occupied. Mixed review
Hotels in the Boston area were booked solid during my visit to the area, so I decided to try something new by staying up in Lowell. I had heard good things about Lowell and I have always had good experiences at Doubletree hotels. The town of Lowell is indeed interesting. Not as bad as people say it is
Sorry just writing a quick review. After reading all the reviews about this place, I was prepared for a crappy stay. But ... Once you walk in the front doors you realize that the hotel is not going to be that bad. Hotel was a little hard to find the first time. But the subsequent returns were eas... Old, Tired, and Little to Offer
Having stayed at other Doubletree hotels we were severely disapointed at what we found this one in Lowell. The decor was old and tired. One elevator had broken rails!
